Look, Ma — no milk! Or partially hydrogenated oil, high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), dipotassium phosphate, “natural” flavors (whatever THAT means!), sodium caseinate or carrageenan either! Just a clean, dairy-free coffee creamer that everyone will enjoy with tasty ingredients that allow the gut to heal.

Homemade dairy-free milk is always best so you can avoid unnecessary additives. It doesn't last as long, but it's absurdly easy and more cost effective to do at home. Homemade cashew milk happens to be my favorite non-dairy milk for this creamer recipe, so be sure to check out our super creamy cashew milk.

P.S. Cashews are not only delicious, but also nutrient-dense, packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants like vitamins E, K, and B6, along with minerals like copper, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, iron, and selenium. And they also support healthy brain functioning, improve digestion and nutrient absorption too!

How to Make Dairy-free Coffee Creamer

I don't even miss that old standard chemical-filled creamer! So not only is it healthier, it goes a step further to help heal create a healing environment for the intestinal lining. I even take this stuff with me in a cute little 2oz glass mason jar when dining out.

1 cup unsweetened cashew milk (make it yourself!)
2 Tbsp raw organic cacao powder (it's WAY more nutritious than cocoa powder)
2 Tbsp ghee (ghee is 99% pure butter oil but may have trace amounts of casein and lactose remaining, so feel free to omit if you're extremely sensitive to it)
2 Tbsp grass-fed collagen peptides
2 Tbsp organic coconut oil (I use Nutiva's refined coconut oil to avoid the taste of coconut)
1 Tbsp vanilla
10 drops organic stevia (or make your own stevia glycerite and sweeten to your liking)

  • Heat cashew milk in saucepan on medium heat
  • Add all ingredients and whisk until fully combined
  • Let cool, then transfer to a food processor and blend for 15 seconds
  • Store in a glass jar and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks (or 1 week of using homemade cashew milk as it sours faster)
